This is the advice I was given for my situation with X5 and A7. The beauty of homeschooling is that if what you planned doesn't work, you can go ahead and try something else. I'm going to follow A7's plan for our FIAR books. That way they are both going to be rowing the same book but the activities will be age appropriate. I will continue to start school with X5 and do Reading made easy, after that A7 will join us for our story and activities.
We all learned as we go, parents included. Homeschooling two kids is not something I'm used to doing, there is much to learn, just like that first year of homeschooling. So for us this will be like that first year all over again!
